LaLa Vazquez is Carmelo Anthony’s Girlfriend!

Meet LaLa Vazquez, the girlfriend of Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony.LaLa can currently be seen gracing the pages of the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.LaLa (real name Alani) was born on June 25, 1979 in Brooklyn, New York. She is of Puerto Rican descent - her parents were born in Puerto Rico. LaLa attended Redan High School and graduated in 1997 and worked alongside Ludacris in a radio show on WHTA. She decided to go to college and attended Howard University. While at Howard, she was a DJ for their radio station.

LaLa moved to Los Angeles in 1999 and worked for KKBT radio. MTV came a callin’ for her to audition but was not called back until 2003. She has co-hosted Direct Effect, TRL, and was the host of the reunion shows for VH1’s Flavor of Love and I Love New York.She has appeared in film as well, LaLa the DJ in 2001 and Two Can Play That Game. In 2002 she appeared in Urban Massacre, in 2003 Monster Island, and in 2004 she had a cameo appearance in You Got Served.LaLa is engaged to NBA star Carmelo Anthony.
