Emily Leatherman Is John Cusack’s Stalker!!

Emily Leatherman, John Cusack’s stalker, was arrested Sunday night for violating a restraining order and stalking Cusack.A cab driver called police after his passenger, Leatherman, did not have enough money for the cab fare. Leatherman had the cab driver take her to Cusack’s Malibu neighborhood.Cusack filed a temporary restraining order against Leatherman in July 2006, where she was ordered to stay at least “500 feet away from him, his home, his car, his work, offices or companies in which he does business.”

Cusack flagged the police down as they were en route to his home, and Cusack told them that he recognized the woman in the cab and said that she had been stalking him. There was evidence at the scene that led to Leatherman’s arrest, but police were not forthcoming with details. She is charged with stalking, violating a restraining order and petty theft. She is currently at Malibu Lost Hills station and her bail was set at $150,000.
Los Angeles County Sheriff Department spokesman Steve Whitmore said that Leatherman is a 33-year-old transient in the Santa Monica area.
