Queen Rania Is Arab Hottie!!
Meet Queen Rania, the queen of Jordan and wife of King Abdullah II.On March 30, 2008, Queen Rania posted a video on YouTube to start a dialogue on tolerance and understanding with regard to the Arab world. She hopes to dispute unfounded Arab stereotypes and introduce today’s youth to the real Arab world. Queen Rania is asking all YouTubers to send her your stereotypes.
Queen Rania Al-Yassin was born August 31, 1970, in Kuwait, so her age is 37. Her Palestinian parents fled to Jordan from Kuwait in 1990 after Saddam Hussein invaded. She attended American University in Chicago where she earned a degree in Business Administration in 1991. She later attended the HEC University of Paris for a degree in Management, but first she worked for Citibank and Apple Computer for a few years.
In January 1993, Queen Rania met Prince Abdullah bin al-Hussein (now King) at a dinner party. They quickly announced their engagement and married on June 10, 1993. They have four children: Prince Hussein, Princess Iman, Princess Salma, and Prince Hashem. When King Abdullah was named King, Rania became the youngest Queen in the world.Queen Rania is mostly known for outspoken support for women’s rights, especially when it comes to educational opportunities for girls. In 2005, she was named number 80 on Forbes’ list of its 100 Power Women.
