Miley Cyrus: Kid’s Choice Awards

Saturday night, Nickelodeon hosted its 2008 Kids’ Choice Awards at the Pauley Pavilion in Westwood, California. Big winners included Miley Cyrus, Jessica Alba, Cameron Diaz, and the Jonas Brothers.Miley brought her awards home for favorite female singer and favorite television actress. Jessica Alba was the favorite movie actress, saying,“I love Nickelodeon! I wore green today in honor of the slime. I love making movies for you all.”

Cameron Diaz was honored with the Wannabe Award for being a celebrity role model. She got the audience to shout, “We are the future! And the future is bright!”Jack Black was the host of the kid event, picked by producers for his “energy and unpredictability”. “Shrek the Third” led the movie nominations with four, but it only won one for favorite voice from an animated movie with Eddie Murphy.
