Survivor Micronesia Winner Is Parvati Shallow
Spoiler Alert!! Tonight is the season finale of Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites. We’ve got an all female final four: Amanda, Natalie, Cirie, and Parvati, and tonight the Survivor jury will crown the winner of Survivor: Micronesia.During the last episode, it was the four girls and Erik, a Survivor Fan. Clearly ganged up on by the fab female four, Erik’s only chance of saving himself was winning individual immunity, which he did. Whew. But it wasn’t over yet. Somehow the girls convince Erik that they will vote for Parvati if he gives Natalie his immunity necklace, because it will redeem him in the jury’s eyes and will be better for him. And he falls for it, so Erik has to bring his torch to Jeff Probst and the snuffing out begins. Cut to James who says, “Finally, I no longer made the dumbest move on Survivor.”
So of the final four girls, who will it be? My money’s on Amanda - she learned her lesson after last season about coming off as doe-eyed and tragic during the jury selection. Parvati has stabbed too many people in the back. My guess is Natalie won’t make it to the final three, and Cirie just won’t get the votes. And we’re off! The final four begin the individual immunity challenge - they have to perch themselves on a pole and fill a chute with water from a bucket that they lower into the ocean and pull back up. From there they get some keys that unlock rungs to a ladder that they have to build. And though she fell behind in the beginning, Amanda makes a come back and wins individual immunity! That means Cirie, Natalie or Parvati are going home after tribal council …
Just in time for tribal council, Cirie and Natalie know it’s between them as to who’s going home, so they both start to work their magic on Parvati and Amanda. It’s going to be a toss up. After lots of grilling from Jeff, and a little back and forth between Amanda and Cirie, they finally cast their votes. Natalie is going home.
Back at camp, Amanda and Cirie get into it because Cirie says she’s been on the bottom of every alliance that’s existed. Amanda disagrees and the yelling starts … and then the hugging. Then the girls find out that it’s a final TWO, not a final three. Duh duh duh. Get ready for another immunity challenge. But first a trip down memory lane.
It’s a balancing challenge - there’s a little marble on a horizontal stick. The longer they go, the more pieces they add. Parvati is the first to drop out - kind of surprising because she seems like the most steady of the three. Lots of sweat and tension - and Amanda again wins individual immunity. The fate of the other two are in her hands.
At tribal council Amanda votes off Cirie, so it’s Amanda and Parvati in the final two. Now it’s in the jury’s hands. Which is always the best part. Ozzy laid into Parvati and professed his love for Amanda - good stuff. So who is the Survivor Micronesia winner? … Drum roll … after a very tight vote it’s Parvati Shallow. The Vero Beach, Fla., native is $1 million richer after winning Survivor: Micronesia -- Fans vs. Favourites last night. Parvati, 25, finished sixth on Survivor: Cook Islands three seasons back -- but this time she took it all the way to the end.She became Survivor's 16th millionaire by pulling in five votes to runnerup Amanda Kimmel's three from a jury of previous castoffs. Amanda -- also a returning player -- appeared to have had this one in the bag, but Parvati's flirtatious ways (oh, and she was pretty smart too) had her laughing all the way to the bank.
