Alicia Silverstone’s Dogs Don’t Fart!

Alicia Silverstone, an ardent vegan, extends her vegan ways to her dogs, as well. She says that because of their no-meat diet, her dogs don’t fart.Alicia Silverstone is an actress known for more than just her acting roles. She posed naked to encourage people to become vegetarians. See the video below. She is also a passionate animal-rights activist. Now she has made her dogs vegetarians, too. Since dogs are classified as “meat-eaters” you’d think they wouldn’t do well with a vegan diet. However, Alicia swears her dogs are not only thriving with the vegan food, but that a bonus benefit is that her dogs no longer fart.

Alicia recently told TV host Graham Norton that: “All four of my dogs are vegan, they don’t fart anymore!”As someone who has known dogs who could clear the room with their well-timed flatulence, I think that is a decidedly positive effect of vegan living. And looking at the Alicia Silverstone video below, it is clear that going vegan is good for her.
