Alleged Assault on Girls Gone Wild Set
A “Girls Gone Wild” employee was arrested and charged with first degree sexual assault after an incident that took place on the company’s tour bus outside of a Smithtown, NY night club last Wednesday.Matthew O’Sullivan, 37, from Los Angeles, was arrested after a woman accused him of inappropriate sexual contact aboard the “Girls Gone Wild” tour bus.
The 20-year-old woman, whose identity is being withheld due to the nature of the alleged crime, told [police] she was invited onto the tour bus and then “subjected to unwanted sexual contact,” police said.The woman went on to claim that she was assaulted during the filming of a video on board the tour bus. Suffolk county police declined to confirm whether the woman was actually featured in that taping of “Girls Gone Wild.”
This isn’t the first scandal to arrise out of the infamous show. Joe Francis, the show’s producer, served jail time on counts of child pornography and prostitution after four women claimed that they were filmed performing adult acts. One woman had been thirteen at the time of filming.Ashley Alexandra Dupre, otherwise known as “Kristen,” had been featured in a segment of “Girls Gone Wild.” She is the woman who was at the center of the Eliot Spitzer prostitution scandal which forced him to resign as Governor of New York.
