Tim McGraw Ejects Fan from Concert

Tim McGraw doesn’t put up with any crap at his concerts. A video of the incident is below. Tim saw a man bothering a woman on the front row of his concert, and he took things into his own hands.According to a news report, at an Auburn, Washington concert on Tuesday night (June 24, 2008), Tim McGraw saw a man attack a female fan on the front row. He yelled out “Get rid of this guy! Security!” but when security wasn’t fast enough he took matters into his own hands. A video of the incident is below. As his band continued to play, he reached down and stopped the attack. Several members of his stage crew rushed to help him.

In a prepared statement, McGraw’s Nashville-based publicist, Jessie Schmidt said,“While Tim was performing at the White River Amphitheater in Auburn, Wash., last night, he watched a man rush to the front of the stage. This overly aggressive fan attacked a female fan, and Tim witnessed this incident. Tim called for security, but when they could not respond quick enough, Tim and several crew members removed the fan from the audience where he was then turned over to the local authorities.”

When I watched the video, I was impressed with Tim’s determination. He wasn’t letting that guy go! I doubt there are many celebrities who would do as Tim McGraw did. Most would step back and let security handle it. Tim, however, had the guts to do what needed to be done immediately. Way to go, Tim!

Tim McGraw was born on May 1, 1967, and so his age is 41 years. His full name is Samuel Timothy McGraw. He was born in Delhi, Louisiana which is a town in Richland Parish. He’s the son of a waitress, Elizabeth D’Agostino Trimble, and Tug McGraw - a relief pitcher for the New York Mets and the Philadelphia Phillies. Tim grew up believing that his stepfather, Horace Smith, was his father. At the age of eleven, Tim found his birth certificate and discovered that Tug McGraw was his biological father. Tug at first denied that he was Tim’s father, but when Tim was 18 years old Tug could no longer deny that Tim was his son because they looked so much alike. The two remained close until Tug died in 2004.

Some of Tim McGraw’s most memorable songs are: It’s Your Love, Indian Outlaw, Live Like You Were Dying, Just To See You Smile, and I Like It, I Love It. His Soul2Soul II tour with Faith Hill in 2006 became the highest grossing tour in country music history. Tim has tried acting, too. He had a supporting role in Friday Night Lights, The Kingdom and Flicka.
